Pathology - Pediatric Physician

The UC Davis Health School of Medicine, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and the UC Davis Children s Hospital are seeking an academic research-intensive Pediatric Pathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series. Clinical duties will chiefly involve pediatric pathology and pediatric autopsies. Teaching duties may include clinical, didactic, and small group teaching of housestaff and medical students, including interdisciplinary conferences to housestaff and faculty, and curriculum development in subspecialty areas.

Participation in the institution's research mission is expected, either as a collaborator or as an intellectual leader of clinically oriented research projects pertinent to the candidate s areas of expertise, and subspecialty training, depending on the academic series chosen for appointment.
