Pathology Physician

Location: Saginaw County, Michigan; Hospital based Start Date: September 30 or as soon as credentialed End Date: Ongoing - 6 months (expected) Schedule: Full time hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm plus alternating weekly Call; 6 months with options to extend Requirements:

• Board Certified APCP Pathologist
• Active, unrestricted MI license / will consider IMLC
• Clean background/malpractice
• Updated CV and Case Logs required for application
• 1 year experience preferred

Clinical Support: 1 FT Pathologist will work in tandem with Locums Pathologist; Histotechnologists Procedures/Cases:

• Approximately 35-50 cases read per day
• Grossing own specimens
• Cut own frozen sections on Cryostat
• Procedures: Hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
• Anatomic Path Procedures:Surgical, GI pathology, GU pathology, Neuropath, Dermpath, Hematopath, Cytology
