Opportunity Description
The role of the Patient Access Coordinator is an essential part of the patient's pre-visit experience. The primary function of this role is to collect accurate patient information, coordinate patient encounters and provide patient support services to ensure that each patient and family encounter is positive, professional, and efficient.
The Patient Access Coordinator I supports these foundational patient and family access duties. This role delivers excellent customer service, meets productivity and quality standards, and complies with Patient Access Coordinator standard work while demonstrating values based behaviors and actively representing Patient Access within the organization.
Duties may include: registering patients and scheduling appointments in Cadence and/or OpTime, coordinating care with other services and minimizing access delays, processing incoming referrals, triaging patient telephone calls to appropriate resources, sending MyChart invitations, collectin...
