Patient Account Analyst (Hybrid/On-Site)

**Description**

**Summary:**
The Patient Account Analyst processes payments to facilitate even cash flow for the organization.

_This role begins with at least 6 months of onsite training. After training, employees may transition to a hybrid schedule, working onsite one day per week._

**Responsibilities:**
• Promptly and accurately processes payments to facilitate even cash flow for the organization.
• Reviews all accounts on the assigned portion of Accounts Receivable via the Aged Trial Balance and batches. Appropriately posts or refunds accounts to bring accounts to a zero balance status.
• Resolves minor problems, answers questions, and uses good judgment to insure that patient care is not compromised. Proactively responds to problems relative to system procedure errors, i.e. coding, registration, charging, posting, authorization issues.
• Reviews and analyzes daily/weekly monthly reports to ensure timely filing. Audits payments, allowances, ...
