Description

Using the order entry system, you are responsible for generating orders for radiology exams. You will also schedule outpatient & inpatient procedures. These include: Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, & Nuclear Medicine. You are also responsible in maintaining accurate departmental billing. Independently provide support services, coordinate care with other services, and provide information about services. • Answering and screening, triage all telephone calls within the departmental communication system, utilize departmental paging system and contact on-call personnel and Radiologist as needed • Respond to patient questions; provide directions to different clinics, units, modalities, parking, eating facilities. • Maintain confidentiality of patient information. • Using EPIC, Schedule and reschedule a variety of Radiology exams following approved protocol for each exam • Utilize financial clearance matrix when scheduling outpatient procedures • Communicate various type...
