Weston Hospital's Telemetry Unit cares for cardiac patients and monitors their heart rhythm. Caregivers in this unit may clean and shave a patient's skin to place electrodes, replace electrodes daily, change batteries in a telemetry device, help someone when their monitor's alarm sounds and explain telemetry to patients.
