Payment Legal Counsel-Alibaba International-Singapore

We seek to hire Legal Counsel who will be a key member of the growing legal team supporting Alibaba International financial/payment business . The attorney will be based in Singapore, may cover legal matters of other SEA countries such as Philippines with the support from external counsels. The key areas and requirements that we are looking for are those listed below:

• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts and commercial agreements.
• Provide advice to business teams on legal aspects of the business models and strategies, business operations, marketing activities, and product offerings.
• Support the application for payment/financial licenses.
• Set up and maintain the legal and compliance framework on payments/financial related activities.
• Research local laws and regulations in foreign jurisdictions and manage outside counsel.
