Job Summary The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing and maintaining accurate payroll records to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. This role supports compliance with company policies and applicable labor and tax regulations while maintaining confidentiality of employee information. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll for employees Collect, verify, and enter timesheets and attendance records Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions Maintain payroll records and employee data in payroll systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Process payroll adjustments, reimbursements, and corrections Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and deductions Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management Assist with year-end reporting, including tax forms (e.g., W-2s, 1099s) Coordinate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters Maintain confidentiality of payroll information Requ...
