Payroll Specialist I

Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist I to join a construction and contractor organization in San Antonio, Texas. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a payroll specialist who can manage multi-state payroll with accuracy, discretion, and strong follow-through in a fast-paced, in-office environment. The person in this role will support timely payroll operations, respond to employee questions, and work closely with internal partners to maintain compliance and reporting standards.

Responsibilities:
• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for weekly, biweekly, and off-cycle pay runs across multiple states, ensuring wages, paid time off, garnishments, insurance deductions, and retirement contributions are handled correctly.
