The **Payroll Specialist I** plays an important role in supporting REI’s employees and operations. This job helps make sure payroll is processed accurately and on time. The role supports trust, fairness, and good service across the co op.
In this position, you will assist with daily payroll activities, including payroll processing, terminations, instant checks, garnishments, and payroll data updates. You will help respond to employee questions and support the Payroll Manager and senior payroll team members. You will handle sensitive information with care and always work in a way that reflects REI’s values and mission.
