Summary
The Consultant in Pediatric Plastic Surgery provides expert assessment, diagnosis, surgical management, and long‑term care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired conditions requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Education/Qualification
- Basic medical degree from a recognized institution
- Post‑qualification certification, including:
- USA: American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
- Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate Pediatric Plastic Surgery (FRCPC)
- UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register in Pediatric Plastic Surgery
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College in Pediatric Plastic Surgery (FRACP)
