Opportunity Description
Responsibilities
- Provide phlebotomy services to activities in the outpatient area and on-site corporate projects.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when attending to patients during on-site or outpatient phlebotomy support.
- Collect, identify, transport, store and process specimens in a fashion which ensures the quality of specimens prior to testing.
- Sort samples prior to analytical procedure.
- Provide support for specimen reception activities when not assigned to phlebotomy scope for corporate projects or outpatient area.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
- Maintain consistent service and productivity in an unpredictable workload environment.
- May be rotated to other lab locations or shifts as necessary.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
