  • We are now looking for an enthusiastic and resilient person to utilise their personal experience in recovery as a full-time permanent (40 hours per week) Peer Support Specialist within our amazing AODTC team. 


    Based at our community hub in New Lynn, this non-clinical position operates Monday to Friday and requires you to build relationships with clients progressing through the life-changing AODTC programme. 


    Ideally, the successful candidate will have

  • Personal lived experience, a story of recovery from addictions and the ability to be a positive role model to others (essential)
  • Strong cultural competencies particularly in working with Māori
  • Assertive communication and active listening skills
