People Technology and Systems Lead

This is a newly created role within Kāinga Ora’s People and Assurance team, reporting to the Manager, People Systems & Intelligence. The role is based in Wellington or Auckland and supports workforce insights via leading people systems, technologies, AI-enabled capability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of people-related systems and technologies across key business groups, including HR, Finance, and enterprise technology functions.
• Ensure people data, systems, and processes are integrated, aligned, and support organisational priorities.
• Strengthen how people information is managed and used across platforms such as HRIS, finance systems, and wider enterprise technologies; enable effective system integration and improve data quality and integrity.
