Opportunity Description
**Job Description**
The (per diem) Cardiovascular Technician is an integral part of the clinical care team, responsible for preparing patients for invasive cardiac procedures, assisting the health care team in hemodynamic monitoring during the case, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
**Qualifications**
+ HS/GED; Associate's degree preferred.
+ 2 years of experience in cath or ep lab.
+ Heartsaver Certification from American Heart Association
SEIU 1199 at Mount Sinai St. Luke's, SAA - II Vascular Surgery - STL, Mount Sinai St. Luke's
**Responsibilities**
1. Maintain sterile techniques to prepare room, equipment table, and provide quality care to patients.
2. Monitor equipment to ensure appropriate working conditions and during procedures. Alert the care team of any changes.
3. Retrieve supplies under the direction of physicians and nurses during the procedure as needed.
