Peripatetic Head of Maintenance

Role Overview

As a Peripatetic Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll travel across your region to ensure a clean and well‑maintained environment so residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first‑class care and support.

You can expect plenty of variety as Head of Maintenance with us. You'll turn your hand to tasks throughout the care home building as well as the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We'll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.
