Gross examination and dissection of anatomic pathology specimens Prepare tissue for numerous pathological tests including frozen section, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemical staining. Photo gross specimens Provide fresh tissue to tissue repository and research projects Assist pathology residents in grossing specimens Support frozen section duties at satellite laboratories as required Operate digital whole slide image scanner Assist in specimen accessioning, cassette printing, specimen handling and fixation prior to grossing. Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist in specimen storage/disposal Participate in Quality Assurance / Process Improvement activities.
