About the Role

As a Fostering Social Worker you will work as part of a supportive and committed fostering team, responsible for recruiting, assessing, training and supporting foster carers across Bradford. You will play a vital role in ensuring foster carers are well prepared and supported to meet the needs of children and young people, helping to build placement stability and long‑term positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive Form F assessments of prospective foster carers
• Provide ongoing supervision, support and guidance to approved foster carers
• Support foster carer development through training and learning opportunities
• Contribute to matching children with appropriate foster placements
• Ensure fostering households meet required standards and regulations
• Work closely with children’s social workers, IROs, and partner agencies
