PERSONAL ASSISTANT PER19004 NS/HR

PERSONAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED FOR 21 year FEMALE AREA CARMARTHEN 2: 1 34 hours over a 4 week period so a new P/A will be required to work 17 Hours over the 4 week period During School holidays 14 weeks per year there will be approx EXTRA 18 hours to work over these weeks . PA required to work alongside another PA to support a 21 year old female with global development delay, ASD, hyper mobility, scoliosis and is non verbal.

The young lady enjoys music, being out and about and lots of 1:1 interaction.

She uses basic makaton signs to communicate and is a full time wheelchair user with hyper mobility syndrome so 2:1 support needed when transferring from chair and for personal care.

She enjoys shopping, walks and trips to the cinema.

She has a great sense of humour and is lots of fun.

Following recent trauma she can be anxious when transferring therefore support, reassurance and patience is very important.
