Personal Care Assistant

Overview

We are looking for a caring and experienced Personal Care Assistant to support a 9‑year‑old girl with complex health needs (Spina Bifida) who may occasionally require breathing support. You will work alongside her family to provide care at home and in the community, building a positive and trusting relationship. She is bright, chatty, and loves fun activities such as baking, playing, and going to the park.

Responsibilities

• Supporting play and activities.
• Personal care and medication administration.
• Gastrostomy feeds (training provided).
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Ensuring proper hygiene and health protocols.

Schedule and Compensation

Hours: Thursday after school – 5 hours, Saturday – 8 hours.

Pay: £18.40 per hour. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata). Expenses covered.
