PGY2 and PGY2 plus House Officers 2027-2028 Wellington Region

Overview

Nau mai, haere mai ki Ūpoko ki te uru hauora. Kōrero mō te tūranga – Permanent PGY2/PGY2+ House Officer positions for the 2027‑2028 RMO year starting from18January2027. Must be eligible for General Registration and available to work in Wairarapa, Wellington, and Hutt Hospitals. Preference is given to applicants wishing to work in Wairarapa and/or who have a preference for Psychiatry.

Role and Rotations

• 12‑week rotations across Hutt Hospital, Wellington Hospital, and Wairarapa Hospital.
• Options for rural attachments within the region with accommodation provided in Masterton.
• Exposure to a wide range of clinical settings and specialty services.
• Participation in formal and informal teaching sessions, and weekly education on a wide range of clinical topics.
