Pharmacist in Neola, IA

A behavioral health facility in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Pharmacist to provide critical support on a temporary basis. This inpatient role involves working weekends with a focus on behavioral health pharmacy services. The assignment begins May 18 and will continue until a permanent pharmacist is hired.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and prepare medications accurately following established safety protocols


• Repackage medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems as needed


• Load drugs into automated dispensing machines and run restock reports to maintain inventory


• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective medication management within behavioral health

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa Pharmacist License required


• Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing preferred
