**Description:**
Pharmacy Interns support pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy to patients. Interns assist with medication preparation, dispensing, sterile and nonsterile compounding, inventory management, and the use of automated pharmacy technology. As interns progress in their schooling and gain more experience, they may assume more clinical pharmacy responsibilities under the supervision of a pharmacist, including antibiotic dosing and monitoring, anticoagulation dosing and monitoring, renal dose adjustments, answering drug related questions, and completing medication histories.
**Position Purpose:**
