Opportunity Description
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Resident is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of Pharmacy Department Services. The Pharmacy Resident supervises, monitors and teaches pharmacy techs and students in proper policies and procedures. Also completes rotations, projects and activities as outlined in the Pharmacy Residency Program Manual and as directed by the Residency Program Director, Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
+ Doctor of Pharmacy
+ MT Pharmacist license within one year of hire
+ American Heart Association BLS within one year of hire
+ American Heart Association ACLS within one year of hire
Preferred
+ Participation in the ASHP National Matching Service
+ Pharmacy rotations completed within a health-system setting
+ Pharmacy internship within a health-system
