Summary: The pharmacy technician specialist position demonstrates a high level of expertise and skill in sterile compounding and cleanroom sterilization procedures. This role will be expected to lead cleanroom sterilizations across multiple locations in the health care system in addition to compounding sterile products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The specialist will ensure compliance with USP <797>, provide staff oversite, and maintain clear communication with customers. Additionally they will lead technician training efforts, identify and execute process improvement opportunities, and will be involved in departmental strategic planning .
Working hours will rotate between days, evenings, and weekends.
