This role focuses on accurately filling prescriptions in a high-volume pharmacy environment while supporting shipping and receiving processes. You will prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification and shipment, maintain a strong emphasis on accuracy and pharmacy workflow, and stay comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. The position offers cross-training opportunities in multiple areas of the pharmacy operation.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately fill 18–22 prescription orders per hour in accordance with established pharmacy procedures.
+ Prepare filled prescriptions for pharmacist review and final verification before shipment.
+ Assist with the shipping process as needed, including preparing and organizing orders for dispatch.
