– Pharmacy I
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Responsibilities include prescription data entry, insurance claims submission, and product selection. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians present completed prescription to the pharmacist for verification and routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service. Must be team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
