Pharmacy Technician - Rheumatology

Job Summary: Under the direct Supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist, this position will prepare sterile and non-sterile medications with the focus on sterile medications including non-hazardous and hazardous medications. Stores and maintains medication inventory. Assists Clinical Pharmacists in monitoring patients. Processes Controlled Substances and troubleshoots Automated Dispensing Cabinet related problems. This employee must be able to combine order processing efficiency without compromising accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ NYS Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

+ National Pharmacy Technician Certification plus 6 months of pharmacy technician experience, and NYS pharmacy technician license within 6 months.
