Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Reports to: Chief Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacist
Status: Non-Exempt
This position is full time and located at the closed door long term care pharmacy at 12th & Kiwanis. Desired availability is Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm.
Summary
The Pharmacy Technician will act as a patient advocate by ensuring that patients follow their drug therapy plans as prescribed. This is done by assisting the Chief Pharmacist/Pharmacist in duties of preparing and distributing prescription medications that are within the scope of Lewis Drug policy and state and national regulations.
