GENERAL SUMMARY:
Support and optimize automated pharmacy systems and related operations across the health system. This role is heavily focused on automation and associated activities while partnering with pharmacy, nursing and multidisciplinary teams. Optimizing anAutomated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC)for central replenishment focuses on improving inventory accuracy, reducing stockouts, minimizing expired meds, and streaming pharmacy workflow.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain the functional and operational integrity of automated dispensing systems (e.g., end-user profiles, troubleshooting, service follow-up, audits/ cycle counts, upgrades).
+ Support automation implementations (setup, inventory assignments) and coordinate with vendors and IT Partners
+ Act as liaison with Nursing Management to monitor/ communicate medication discrepancies and support resolution.
