Overview
The Department of Physics and Technology invites applications for a PhD Fellow to join the project Cosmic Dust Injection into the Upper Earth Atmosphere (CODIA). The position is funded by the Research Council of Norway, will last 3 years, and is based at UiT in Tromsø. The applicant must be able to start reasonably soon after an offer.
Responsibilities
- Complete the PhD programme by the end of the 3‑year period.
- Analyse data from the summer 2025 rocket campaign and plan measurements for 2028.
- Investigate the microphysics of cosmic dust, including condensation, agglomeration and charge interaction.
- Work with project participants, PhD and master students, and local, national and international collaborators.
