The Phlebotomist II supports a busy diagnostic environment by performing blood draws and other specimen collections, troubleshooting issues, assisting with training, and recommending workflow improvements. This role ensures accurate specimen handling, labeling, and processing while providing clear, courteous communication to patients and supporting clinical staff with timely and precise laboratory services.
Responsibilities
+ Perform venipunctures and other blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
+ Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
