Opportunity Description
UPMC Soldiers and Sailors in Wellsboro, PA is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team. This role offers a 40-hour workweek on evening shift with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Evening shift hours are 3PM - 11PM. Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled every third weekend and include one winter and one summer holiday. Weekend shifts are 2:30PM - 11PM.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, prior phlebotomy experience or training, or experience in direct patient care. This position is responsible for accurate specimen collection for inpatient and outpatient testing, supporting essential diagnostic and treatment processes. Additional duties may include computer, courier, and clerical tasks critical to laboratory operations.
