Opportunity Description
WDAF-TV FOX4 Kansas City is seeking a full-time News Photographer who creates high-quality video content that drives storytelling for broadcast and digital news platforms. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively under deadline pressure.
+ Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Shoot video and sound for news reports, including live shots, interviews, and breaking news coverage
+ Collaborate with reporters, producers, and assignment desk personnel on story development and execution
+ Set up and execute interviews while capturing strong, relevant b-roll
+ Edit video for broadcast and digital platforms using non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)
+ Operate live transmission equipment (TVU, Dejero, or similar) as assigned
+ Assist with newscast editing as part of cross-training
