Phychologist (PhD) - Oncology

Psychologists work individually and on teams to provide psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment intervention to individuals, families and groups. They provide consultations to hospital staff. Psychologists engage in research and program evaluation. Psychologists develop and evaluate new assessment, treatment programs and services to better meet patient needs. Psychologists teach and supervise psychology trainees and other health profession learners. Psychologists utilizes discipline specific skills, knowledge, related clinical experiences and abilities to provide psychological assessments, care planning, direct clinical interventions (individual and group) and consultation to staff on complex cases and psychological issues across all areas.
