This Physical Therapist position is located at the Newton Medical Center where there is a small-town atmosphere with opportunity for big-town experience. This is a primary inpatient position but does see up to 3 outpatients per day as well. It is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on Day Shift. Flexible core hours 7:30am - 5:30pm.
**JOB PURPOSE:**
**A MercyOne Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services as determined by medical direction, therapist judgment, patient needs and desires, and available facilities. Organize and conduct physical therapy programs in the hospital and community to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Help patient reach his/her optimal physical abilities and learn to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.**
