Physician Assistant - Emergency Department Role

WPSHC is looking for a Physician Assistant to support the Emergency Department. In this position, you will work alongside physicians, conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans. Your role will involve patient education and close monitoring, with an emphasis on collaboration across various services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessment in the Emergency Department
• Assist in creating and executing treatment plans
• Teach and support patients throughout their care
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly
• Work with interdisciplinary teams for enhanced patient care
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited PA education program
• Registration in good standing with CPSO as a Physician Assistant
• Certification from PACCC or NCCPA for American-trained PAs
