Physician Assistant I - OHNS - Medical Group APPs - Full Time 10 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)

Performs diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a physician. Duties include, but are not limited to: consults, daily rounds, ordering and interpreting labs, films, and studies, admitting/discharging patients, ordering medications per protocol, assisting in surgery, and ability to perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialed privileges. Departmental Specific Summary The Physician Assistant (PA) I is a licensed health professional who practices medicine with the supervision of a physician. The PA I has less than three years of experience as a PA. The PA I is involved in coordination of care, participates in education, and is closely engaged in clinical practice and patient care management.
