Physician (Family Medicine or General Practice)

We are seeking expressions of interest from Physicians interested in providing primary health services in Saskatchewan correctional and youth custody settings. These opportunities are expected to be part-time, clinic-based roles with additional on‑call responsibilities, subject to final service arrangements. This posting is exploratory and intended to identify qualified clinicians who may be interested in future correctional health work.

Potential Practice Setting

Physicians may provide onsite medical services within adult and youth correctional facilities located in:

• Regina
• Prince Albert
• North Battleford

Assignments may involve one or multiple sites depending on clinician availability and interest.

Clinical Scope

• Assessment and treatment of common acute illnesses and injuries
• Ongoing management of chronic medical conditions
• Medication prescribing and renewals
