Physician (Ft) Urologist

Job Title

Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) offers a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, ambulatory surgery, dental, nursing home, nutrition, podiatry, prosthetics, women's health, mental health and rehabilitation medicine.

Duties

Duties involve diseases of the male and female urinary tract systems, kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis). This includes:

• Comprehensive care of ambulatory patients in the outpatient Urology clinic as well as care of all inpatients and patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Performs clinic examinations, manages new patient consultations, diagnosis and treatment.
• Participates in the operating room commensurate with technical abilities: performs preoperative and post-operative evaluation for surgical patients.
