Duties

The staff Hematologist/Oncologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties.

• Evaluate, triage, and prioritize consult requests to ensure timely care for patients suspected of having Hematology/Oncology needs.
• Order and supervise the administration of chemotherapeutic agents.
• Participate in the multi disciplinary tumor board.
• Perform bone marrow aspiration and biopsies.
• Perform goals of care conversations and collaborate with the Hospice and Palliative Care team to coordinate care and manage symptoms of patients with a...
