Physician / Hospitalist / Oregon / Locum or Permanent / Hospitalist - Lead Hospitalist Job

Lead Hospitalist - Southern OR.

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Hospitalist and also administrative experience.

• As the lead hospitalist, you will lead a group of about 12 physicians and 2 mid-level providers. Our hospitalist physicians typically see between 10 and 15 patients a day. Four physicians work a 12-hour shift, one physician covers an additional 8-hour admission shift, and one physician covers a 12-hour night shift.
• Youll spend about three quarters of your time on clinical work; the rest is protected for administrative duties.
• Youll work closely with other physician leaders and leaders from nursing, operations, and case management to meet high quality standards for patient safety, outcomes, throughput, and utilization.
• You will report directly to the Vice President of Medical Affairs.

HIGHLIGHTS:
