Physician (Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine)

Summary The Pulmonary Doctor will provide specialized care in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pulmonary diseases and conditions. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient services, including consultation and ongoing care for veterans with respiratory disorders. Responsibilities Duties include but not limited to: 1. Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive pulmonary care to veterans diagnosed with respiratory conditions. Diagnose and treat pulmonary diseases, including but not limited to, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and lung cancer. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as chest X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary function tests, and bronchoscopy procedures. Develop treatment plans based on the best available scientific evidence and clinical guidelines. Conduct follow-up appointments and ongoing management of chronic respiratory conditions. 2.
