Summary The James J Peters VA Medical Center (JJPVAMC) is seeking a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine with a current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery. The candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in either Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Internal Medicine, or Surgery. Responsibilities The James J Peters VA Medical Center (JJPVAMC) is Clinical Referral Level 2 Facility. The SCI/D Service mission is to provide high quality, compassionate, and timely care to Veterans with spinal cord injury and disability (SCI/D). The population served includes both traumatic and non-traumatic SCI, multiple sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The SCI/D Service includes a 48-bed acute and sustaining Inpatient Unit, 10 Outpatient Clinics and a Home Care Program.
