Physiotherapist - Acute Medical

Overview

Location: Hutt Hospital—Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Salary: NZ$77,087 – NZ$110,210. This role is part of the inpatient physiotherapy team based primarily on the Medical ward and Coronary Care unit, with an outpatient respiratory caseload and participation in the outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programme.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the hospital setting.
• Deliver services on all inpatient wards, including Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU) and Emergency Department (ED).
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and assist with the outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programme.

Qualifications

• Registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board.
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
