PICU Nurse Manager

Overview

Plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of patient‑centred care within established institutions' policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of professional nursing practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Coordinates treatment across disciplines, replaces nurses during sick leave, and manages human, financial, and other resources while fostering professional development of self and subordinates. Involves strategic planning, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and enforces Joint Commission International (JCI) requirements, including International Patient Safety Goals and national and international standards.
