Pipe Fitter / Welder

Pipefitter / Welder required for a process engineering company and manufacturer of a wide range of products including heat exchangers, hygienic pipework systems and process equipment supplied predominantly into the food engineering industry, based in the Elland area.

This position is responsible for the manufacture, assembly, welding and installation of process pipework systems used in the handling and conveying of food products, powders, liquids, steam and associated process media. The role will involve working both within the workshop and on customer sites throughout the UK, supporting the successful delivery of bespoke engineering projects.

Duties and responsibilities include: Manufacturing, assembling, welding and installing hygienic stainless-steel pipework systems, interpreting engineering drawings, supporting installation activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
