Planner : raw materials

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: (amongst other duties)

Ensuring there are enough RAW Materials and Secondary packaging to fulfil orders and reorder levels are maintained Issue daily schedules for Raw Material requirements Monitoring of slow-moving stocks Liaise with Sales personnel to dispose of or resell or maintain reorder levels Service the branches in terms of product required etc. Calculating daily and weekly stock figures, exceptions etc Co-coordinating plans for external transport Advising Production and Planners of any exceptions that may be necessary for new product Liaising with Stores & Distribution regarding new packaging Long-term planning of stock levels and buffers Assisting with the utilization budget process Optimizing stock rotation, ordering and cash flow management
