Planner/Dispatcher

The Planners/Dispatchers are responsible for route planning, driver coordination, and daily dispatch operations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth, cost-effective, and timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with company policies and client requirements.

Planners/Dispatchers manage daily delivery schedules and optimise routes for efficiency. They assign jobs to drivers, monitor progress in real time, and resolve operational issues as they arise. The role involves liaising with clients on updates, requests, and service expectations. Planners/Dispatchers also ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records. In addition, they provide guidance to the dispatch team and oversee smooth handovers across shifts.
