Planning Compliance Apprentice

Overview

We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Planning Compliance Team. You will be part of a busy dynamic team covering a diverse area including urban areas, rural areas, and vibrant market towns, serving approximately 260,000 residents and 10,000 businesses across 161 parishes. Our work therefore encompasses both urban and rural planning, residential, retail, commercial and agricultural development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day operations of the team, including the investigation of alleged breaches of planning control.
• Assist with tasks related to the collection of evidence and progression of enforcement action.
• Take on own cases supported by the team, liaise with other agencies and teams to resolve breaches or take necessary action.
